This artist publication of 24 unbound photographic prints memorializes the gradual demise of a personal archive as well as that of its owner Professor William D’Hondt of Antwerp, Belgium – a collector of rare books. Upon the onset of Professor D'Hondt's final stages of life, this image series was created to document the physical dispersion of the many volumes within his archive over the course of his illness. Professor D'Hondt is now deceased and the contents of the archive sold to private collectors.
